Webinar on: Take Away from the Pandemic and Adjusting to the ‘New Normal’
On 2nd April, 2022 the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of North South University (NSU) organized a webinar on: Take Away from the Pandemic and Adjusting to the ‘New Normal’.
The webinar began with a welcome address by IQAC Coordinator, Dr. Rajesh Palit. Prof. Dr. M. Ismail Hossain, Pro Vice Chancellor of NSU was present at the webinar as Special Guest and also participated in the deliberation. IQAC Director, Prof. Dr. Nazmun Nahar moderated the webinar. Stressing the importance of webinar, she mentioned that, it is high time to discuss the ways in which faculty members are coping with the transition from online to in person system and the skills they have developed in the past two years while conducting classes online. There were four discussants from four schools, who elaborately discussed and shared their views and experiences on three areas: technical strength acquired during the pandemic, ways to deal with student engagement issues in online format and ways to cope-up with the online to on-campus transition.
The webinar was well attended by the Deans from School of Business and Economics, School of Engineering and Physical Sciences and School of Humanities and Social Sciences and core faculty members of NSU. There was a question and answer session towards the end of the webinar. The session was highly interactive and lively benefiting all the participants. The webinar ended with vote of thanks from another IQAC Coordinator, Dr. Muhammad Sabbir Rahman.
